Katie is a believer that all movement is the key to unlocking your true potential and longevity!

Katie was first introduced to MAT growing up as a competitive dancer. She suffered many injuries that failed to heal under common practices. After a few powerful sessions, many of her injuries had improved and most of her pain was gone. She also noticed a huge improvement in overall quality of movement in her dance practice, and went on to have many more successful competitive seasons.

Inspired by what MAT allowed her to do, Katie’s passion for movement grew as she went on to get her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Later graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Sport Science with an emphasis in Fitness and Rehabilitation.

After college, Katie pursued the Muscle Activation Techniques Full Body Specialist Program in 2016. She completed the program, and later became a licensed practitioner in Baltimore, MD.

Katie’s empathy for others in pain motivates her to always provide the greatest experience using the core principals of MAT. Her goal is to educate clients on how to incorporate movement into their lifestyle, to be the best that they can be!

In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, Will, and their 4-year-old dog Millie. Together her and her husband enjoy traveling around the US and the world, visiting friends, and hiking. Some of Katie’s other hobbies include teaching dance at a local dance studio, teaching Pilates/Barre exercise classes, engaging with her community, and advocating for endometriosis, health and wellness.
